Monte Tamaro, Tessin. Chapel Santa Maria Degli Angeli, Architekt Mario Botta. For months already we had in mind visiting this place. At the 1th of November the gondola service on the mountain closed for this year, bringing an end to the enormous tourist circus on the Monte Tamaro. A beautiful 3 hour hike (ca. 1000m up) brought us up to the chapel where we enjoyed the silence and breathtaking views on the alps.
